These framed collages are made from papers that I have been printing myself using a monoprinting technique.

They have acted as my sketchbook over this last year as I capture the faded patina of different surfaces or study the naturally formed patterns present in our everyday surroundings if we look carefully enough.

I started to group them into small collections and they began to emerge into interesting abstract formations.

They are float mounted in hand painted glazed frames. The frame colour is mixed and chosen to harmonise uniquely with a particular collection.
